Install this thermocouple on your truck and attach it to the Edge Insight so that your Insight monitor can display the all important EGT information.   This requires drilling on a stock manifold.

In addition to all of the parameters that can be displayed, diesel owners can purchase a thermocouple probe that connects to an additional sensor port on the OBDII connection and display EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature). Or the same connection can be used to input a wideband 02 sensor. And for owners of new diesels with diesel particulate filter (DPF) traps, the Insight displays DPF regeneration status.
