How to save money at Diesel-Max.com:

 In order to stay in business, manufacturers of course have to make money.  If they let their dealers price their products however they want, competition would dictate that the lowest price would sell the products.  Simple supply and demand would drive the price of the products down to where dealers like Diesel-Max are making just enough to cover expenses and very little more just to get a sale.  Your dealer network becomes low profit on a market that is not necessarily high volume and your dealers don't make much money. 

In order to correct this problem, most manufacturers have what's called a Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy (MAP Policy) that dealers are required to adhere to.  This levels the playing field and makes everyone price the products accordingly so there is no favoritism based on price.  When you search for products on the internet, you will find consistent pricing and some dealers will even price above MAP.  Your dealer network makes money and your products sell at a better profit.  

The rules of this system - as specified by the manufacturers - state that it is the advertised price that is controlled.  As long as the dealers play by these rules, the product keeps flowing, warranty claims are taken care of and a good relationship between the manufacturer, dealer, and customer is maintained. 

Here's where we are a little different:

While still adhering to all the policies of the manufacturers, we can still price our products however we want - even below MAP pricing as long as we don't advertise it and make the pricing on the website lower than MAP.  Most dealers won't tell you this so that you think the lowest price you'll pay is what is advertised on the site. 

What we can do is give you a lower price than MAP if you ask!  That's all there is to it.  Just send me an email at Diesel-Max@fuse.net and I'll quote you a lower price than the MAP price on almost any product on our site.  You have to send the email though!!!  We believe in educated consumers that are treated fairly, get a better deal than anywhere else, and get all the benefits of a good relationship between the manufacturer and dealer, We want you to save money so you have more to spend on other mods and end up with a cooler truck! 

Exceptions:

The products that are manufactured by Diesel-Max.com are not subject to any MAP pricing because we price them to give you a good deal and to make a little money.  These include the Original Dodge Fuel Tank Vent Kits, Pillar Pins, and .44 Magnum Shift knobs.  Also, a few manufacturers don't specify a MAP, so their products are already priced low on the website.   One manufacturer, namely Edge Products, doesn't allow their products to be sold below the MAP price.  If they find anyone selling these products below their specified prices, the dealer will lose their dealership.  We comply with this policy.
